Week 10 Gimme One

Writer's picture: Morgan WatkinsMorgan Watkins

GOOD MORNING DEGENERATES!!!! Boy, I’ve missed you. Welcome to another week of NFL player prop gambling. I have a case of the blues this week as it is already Week 10 and before we know it our beloved football season will be over. But let's not weep for the future but enjoy the present. Last week's picks weren’t the best but fortunate for us, we won't have too much inclement weather in our way and the matchups line up significantly better. So without much further ado, I give you four slam dunk player props that look extremely enticing if you are willing to wager a little paper on them. Enjoy!

(All picks are brought to you by DraftKings Sportsbook)

Kyler Murray OVER 51.5 rushing yards (-134) against the Buffalo Bills.

Kyler Murray is everything that Lamar Jackson wishes he could be and soon (maybe even this year) he will have an MVP award under his belt officially staking his claim as the superior QUARTERBACK. For as great of a runner that Jackson is, Kyler is the closest thing we've seen to the incomparable Michael Vick. Like Vick, this offense revolves around Murray who has thrown for 2130 yards while rushing for another 543. Buffalo currently is giving up 125.9 rushing yards per game which is in the lower half of the league currently. Kyler, who averages 67.87 yards per game on the ground will look to keep slashing and dashing this week which he should find plenty of running lanes available. Photo: Getty Images

Aaron Rodgers OVER 2.5 touchdown passes (+105) against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This just doesn't seem fair and I actually feel bad for what is about to happen to the poor Jaguars on Sunday. In eight games this year, mostly without his number one receiver Rodgers has still managed to throw for 24 touchdowns so this is certainly on trend for another big passing day for the Packer QB. Jacksonville is giving up 280.0 yards per game through the air, leading to a 31st ranked scoring defense that allows 30.9 points per game. Aaron Rodgers is firmly in the middle of the MVP discussions but when the season ends, this might be the game that we look at and see huge numbers that propelled his case to the next level.

Mike Davis OVER 51.5 rushing yards (+100) against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

During Run CMC’s stint on the IR, Mike Davis was one of the most productive backs in the league as the new lead back. Welp, McCaffrey is out once again in what looks like a lost season for the Panther star so reentering as the lead back in the Carolina backfield is Davis. Carolina runs an extremely efficient offense with Teddy Bridgewater at the helm and he was at his most productive with Davis standing next to him. Tampa is the league's number one run defense, giving up 77.9 yards per game which will make this a challenge but in a divisional contest, this is a big opportunity for Carolina to show they are no slouch and can stand up to the mighty Bucs and to do so, they will need to stay committed to their balanced attack.

Justin Herbert OVER 1.5 touchdown passes (-190) against the Miami Dolphins

Who would have thought entering Week 10 that someone other than Joe Burrow would be the favorite for the Rookie of the Year award. Well that’s exactly where Justin Herbert finds himself at right now. The former Oregon Duck has shown wonderfully this season throwing for 17 touchdown passes in his seven games under center. This week he goes up against an expensive Miami secondary that gave up three scores through the air last week and is giving up 1.4 per game on the season. The Super Chargers are also a team that commits to the air attack, throwing for 284.4 yards per game which is good for 5th best in the league. Herbert will get plenty of opportunities to chuck the ball around and look for his favorite target Keenan Allen in the endzone a few times.
